Who is Sanket Alekar?

Sanket is a funny guy who finds it weird talking about himself in the third person.

He was born in California and had an interesting hybrid upbringing shuttling back and forth between the SF Bay Area and Pune, India. He lives in the NYC area for around ten years and currently lives in Jersey City with his wife.

He has performed at comedy clubs across the US. He recently launched his own sketch comedy web series titled “The Sanket Show”.

His comedy touches upon anxiety, weight issues, and pedantic over-analysis of commonly used idioms. Like “Sorry not sorry”, does that mean you’re actually sorry?
